Perfect for me in every way but…

I find I can go really hard for the shows I love and I have a suspicion many here feel the same way.

I’d love to know your least favorite thing about your very favorite shows.

My 2 favorite shows are Bad Buddy and Never Let Me Go, but I definitely admit they have flaws. For example:

  • I haaaaate the gun situation in Bad Buddy. I completely understand why they did it (it brought Wai and Pran back together, and Wai on board for the relationship PLUS it was the catalyst for the deeper investigation into the beef between families) but I’m almost 100% sure they could have done it differently. The scene was overdramatic and it didn’t fit with the tone of the rest of the show imo.

  • there are a few acting moments that don’t land for me in NLMG. The one that stands out the most in my mind is the end of ep 4 where Nueng is drunk and goes off on Palm for not paying enough attention to him, but then he’s suddenly allergic to alcohol while Palm is getting his hand stomped on? It was supposed to be this big moment but I thought it felt forced.

But, as my favorite shows, I’m still obsessed and will continue to rewatch on a regular basis and sing their praises till I’m blue in the face!
